As our winemaking staff is busy processing grapes, our tasting room is a buzz with fall visitors and our event calendar is packed! The Cambria Scarecrow Festival takes place every October, and there are hundreds of scarecrows stationed at businesses from Harmony to San Simeon. We are happy to host our own scarecrow “Bob”. Bob is a cowboy who watches over our painted fiberglass cow named “Ruby”. When you stop by, “Bob” is sure to wrangle your attention, as he makes us jump every time we see his shadow!
October 20th and 21st is Harvest Weekend. We are featuring Linn’s Olallieberry and Dutch apple pies paired with our wines. Although Olallieberry is Linn’s most famous pie, my favorite is the Dutch apple paired with our Chardonnay. Come by and judge the pairings yourself!
Sunday, October 28th is our annual Pacific Coast Wine Trail Progressive Mac N’ Cheese event. Visit all six wineries on the Trail and sample a different wine paired with a unique Mac N’ Cheese at each stop. Mac N’ Cheese sample is included with your tasting fee at each winery.
We hope you’ll visit this October to participate in the Mac N’ Cheese event and/or check out the many scarecrows on the North Coast. If you mention our scarecrow “Bob” when you arrive, your tasting fee will be on the house.
